This site is really just a personal project; I might sometimes write down thoughts on the blog and all music I make can be found here as well. I wanted to have a minimalist site to document stuff I make and maybe share my thoughts on occasion.

"Minimalist" in the sense of not having javascript, ads, trackers, or any other variant of pozzed cyberviolence. There ain't a single cookie on the whole site. There ain't even an oven. Your steak ain't coming out rare, it's coming out common.

Some things I care about

1. Freedom

   
   

   I'm a fan of free (libre) software and I think the principle should be applied to a lot, if not all, of things online. Also, all of my music is released under a CC0 license (copyleft) for numerous reasons that I won't get into here.

   
   

2. Humanity

   
   

   I don't hate AI altogether but I think people who rely on it are kinda lame. Be a human. Reserve the creative labors, and their associated fruits, for humans. I think the funny vids and pics are cool though. The term "AI" itself is objectionable too. For example, LLMs have no semantic understanding of the output they generate, which I think means whatever it has does not qualify as intelligence.

   
   

3. Minimalism

   
   

   At least in the realm of websites. I hate bloated sites stuffed with ads and trackers more than almost anybody. It's bad for the internet and it's bad for you.
